Flame arresting devices prevent in case of a wrong manipulation an explosion back pressure into the gas supply. They therefore contribute largely to the working safety and are the regulations in most countries.
All our flame arresting devices have a gas non-return valve (prevents a backflow of gas against normal flow direction) and a flame arrestor (a sinter filter prevents a flash back of the flame in case of an explosion back pressure). The GLOOROTHERM has a third safety component, namely a temperature sensitive cut-off valve. At an explosion back pressure the special solder is melting and the pre-tensioned bolt is interrupting the gas supply.
The Gloorotherm is available in two executions. Art.1500 for the usual applications with single cylinder or manifolds and Art.1800 for higher performances such as machine oxygen cutting and for low pressures (natural gas).
The Gloorotherm is available for oxygen, compressed air, acetylene, propane, natural gas and hydrogen.
The Gloorotherm is connected directly to the pressure regulator or the gas take-off station.
