History

The origin of GLOOR Bros Ltd. was a craftwork enterprise that was founded by the two brothers Otto and Fritz Gloor in 1935. As early as the 40’s, they began to invest in industrial manufacture and, in parallel, in the expansion of their export business. 

Thanks to clear market positioning, GLOOR Bros Ltd. has established itself as the market leader in Switzerland in the area of gas welding and pressure control technology, and has also established and reinforced its position internationally.

To the present day, the company is wholly family-owned and headed by Dr. Regula Gloor (Sales/Administration) and Markus Gloor (Technology/Production) in the second generation.
